Direct Low Pressure (DLP) systems as defined by the LPS 1666 Standard

RottGuard DLP systems – Operation:

·      It’s pressurized pneumatic heat detection / suppression tube, attached to the extinguishing agent storage vessel outlet, ruptures on exposure to the heat of a flame.

·      The suppressant released from the burst tube is orientated in the direction of the fire.

·      Only the faulty fire damaged component (example Fig. 2) needs replacement when extinguished, saving on costs and downtime.

RottGuard DLP system – Advantages:

·      They have been independently tested by BRE Global, Exova Warrington Fire and CE, approved by SGS UK.

·      RottGuard designs exceed LPS 1666 requirements, compensating for louvered enclosure vents, as per Fig. 1.

·      The system clean agent suppressants are non-conductive and leave no residue to clean up.

·      These systems can extinguish fires at their incipient stage, in advance of those represented in Fig. 3.

·      RottGuard DLP systems are less expensive, require little maintenance, compared to total flooding systems.

·      Its pressure gauge and volt free switch provide self-monitoring, when interfaced with fire detection systems.
